“Courage is the measure of our heartfelt participation with life, with another, with a community, a work: a future.”

Lesley White, MSW, LICSW
Owner, Clinical Social Worker & Therapist
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with a focus on the intersection of trauma, attachment styles (i.e. how people form and maintain relationships), and family systems. I offer individual and couples therapy for adults addressing trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship issues.
My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel recognized and understood. I draw from a range of therapeutic techniques grounded in a trauma-informed, resilience-oriented approach to facilitate your healing and empower you to live courageously. My therapeutic style is relational, collaborative, and practical, allowing me to meet you where you are as you navigate your unique path toward lasting change.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of New Hampshire. I then completed my master’s degree in social work at Boston University School of Social Work in 2015, where I focused on supporting individuals and families in Massachusetts before returning to the New Hampshire seacoast in 2020. I have been licensed for independent practice in New Hampshire since 2022.
As a social worker, I approach this work with deep gratitude and humility, honoring the vulnerability of my clients as they share their stories. This privilege fuels my commitment to supporting their journeys with compassion and respect.
If you have questions or are interested in partnering with me on your journey, I would love to hear from you.
